e1a710014c ENH: define lerp field functions
- defined for lerp between two fields,
  either with a constant or a field of interpolation factors.

  * plain Field, DimensionedField, FieldField, GeometricFields

- using a field to lerp between two constants is not currently
  supported

ab10b4a05c EHN: add FieldFunction interface for 0/1 clamping
- enables clamp(field, zero_one{}) returning a tmp Field

6f68ce5239 ENH: update field function macros and 'reuse' field handling
- clearer, more consistent parameter naming, which helps when
  maintaining different field function types (eg, DimensionedFields,
  GeometricFields)

- provide reuseTmpGeometricField::New taking a reference (not a tmp),
  with forwarding. This helps centralise naming and acquisition etc

- split binary function macros into transform/interface
  for easier support of different transform loops.

- initial field macros for looping over ternaries

ba153df8db ENH: improved handling for clamping
- proper component-wise clamping for MinMax clamp().

- construct clampOp from components

- propagate clamp() method from GeometricField to FieldField and Field

- clamp_min() and clamp_max() for one-sided clamping,
  as explicit alternative to min/max free functions which can
  be less intuitive and often involve additional field copies.

- top-level checks to skip applying invalid min/max ranges
  and bypass the internal checks of MinMax::clamp() etc.

454f7960b0 STYLE: expand use of ListLoop macros (#2624)
- the old List_FOR_ALL macro only remained in use in relatively few
  places. Replace with the expanded equivalent and move the looping
  parameter out of the macro and give an explicit name (eg, loopLen)
  which simplifies the addition of any loop pragmas in the various
  TFOR_ALL... macros (for example).

  but MinMax, sumMag are not.

9a7029004c ENH: minMax, minMaxMag as functions and field functions
- Global functions are unary or combining binary functions, which are
  defined in MinMax.H (MinMaxOps.H).

  There are also global reduction functions (gMinMax, gMinMaxMag)
  as well as supporting 'Op' classes:

  - minMaxOp, minMaxEqOp, minMaxMagOp, minMaxMagEqOp

  Since the result of the functions represents a content reduction
  into a single MinMax<T> value (a min/max pair), field operations
  returning a field simply do not make sense.

- Implemented for lists, fields, field-fields, DimensionedField,
  GeometricField (parallel reducing, with boundaries).

- Since the minMax evaluates during its operation, this makes it more
  efficient for cases where both min/max values are required since it
  avoids looping twice through the data.

  * Changed GeometricField writeMinMax accordingly.

ENH: clip as field function

- clipping provides a more efficient, single-pass operation to apply
  lower/upper limits on single or multiple values.

  Examples,

    scalarMinMax limiter(0, 1);

    limiter.clip(value)

       -> returns a const-ref to the value if within the range, or else
          returns the appropriate lower/upper limit

    limiter.inplaceClip(value)

       -> Modifies the value if necessary to be within lower/upper limit

  Function calls

    clip(value, limiter)

       -> returns a copy after applying lower/upper limit

    clip(values, limiter)

       -> returns a tmp<Field> of clipped values

c02bf70ea7 tmp: Improved reference count checks to provide better error diagnostics
in case of tmp misuse.

Simplified tmp reuse pattern in field algebra to use tmp copy and
assignment rather than the complex delayed call to 'ptr()'.

Removed support for unused non-const 'REF' storage of non-tmp objects due to C++
limitation in constructor overloading: if both tmp(T&) and tmp(const T&)
constructors are provided resolution is ambiguous.

The turbulence libraries have been upgraded and '-DCONST_TMP' option
specified in the 'options' file to switch to the new 'tmp' behavior.

latest gcc and clang compilers and only required one hack to avoid
warnings from PackedBoolList.H.

958ee7336f FieldField: support different Field types for binary operators e.g. fvPatchField and fvsPatchField.
The Field type of the result is that of the LH argument so now

// Update the phi BCs from U before p BCs are updated
phi.boundaryField() = mesh.Sf().boundaryField() & U.boundaryField();

is possible.
